Both the PROFESSIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM and the POST-SECONDARY BRIDGE DIPLOMA PROGRAM aim to develop exceptionally strong classical ballet dancers with equal prowess in the contemporary genre. This unique training approach prepares students to grow into versatile dancers who are inquisitive, determined, artistically focused, and demonstrate exceptional work ethic. VAB’s Vocational Division dancers benefit from numerous performance opportunities throughout the year, ensuring they develop the skills to sustain the mental and physical demands required of a professional artist. Individual students may be selected to receive additional coaching in preparation for domestic and international competitions. Acceptance into VAB’s Vocational Division programs is by audition only. 

VAB offers homestay accommodation for international and domestic students. Carefully selected and screened host families provide a warm, comfortable, and supportive living environment, introducing the students to Canadian culture and helping them transition into a new routine with a demanding training schedule.
