BOYS CAN DANCE
FULL-YEAR PROGRAM | Boys Ages 7 to 11
We’re passionate about creating welcoming spaces for male-identifying students to explore movement and build confidence through dance. Boys Can Dance is a fun and accessible ballet/jazz fusion class designed for male-identifying students aged 7–11 who are new to dance or curious to try something creative and active.
As part of VAB’s commitment to accessible and inclusive dance education, Boys Can Dance is being offered fully subsidized for the 2026–2027 season for first year enrollment. Meaning this year, families are only responsible for a $40 registration fee and uniform, see more details below about uniform requirements. This limited-time opportunity is ideal for families interested in introducing their child to dance with minimal upfront cost.
Led by an experienced instructor under the guidance of Andrew Pronger, School Principal and former professional dancer with Queensland Ballet, students will explore rhythm, coordination, strength, and creativity in a supportive and fun environment.
“Through our Boys Can Dance and Boys Ballet programs at VAB, I’m proud to offer young male-identifying dancers the kind of opportunity that shaped my own journey. The chance to explore movement, grow in confidence, and connect with peers in a supportive environment is something every young dancer deserves.”
— Andrew Pronger, School Principal & Head of Open Division
