The Victoria Academy of Ballet (VAB) Audition Tour invites aspiring dancers from across Canada and around the world to audition for our Full-Year and Summer Programs. Open to students aged 11 and up, auditions provide an opportunity to showcase talent, potential, artistry, and musicality in front of VAB’s internationally acclaimed ballet faculty. We seek dancers who exemplify these qualities, reflecting the high standards of our programs.

Auditions focus exclusively on classical ballet, highlighting VAB’s dedication to training technically strong, versatile, and well-rounded ballet artists. Join us to take the first step toward advancing your ballet training with one of Canada’s leading dance academies.

Join us in Toronto, Ottawa, Québec City, Penticton, Kelowna, Nanaimo, and Courtenay for the 2026 Victoria Academy of Ballet Audition Tour. Dancers ages 11+ are invited to audition for our Full-Year Professional Training Program and Summer Intensives.

International audition dates, including Mexico, will be announced soon.

Training Pathways

Victoria Academy of Ballet offers programs for dancers at all levels. The full-time Professional Training Program (PTP) provides advanced ballet training alongside half-day academic studies for middle and high school students, helping them develop both technically and artistically. The Bridge Diploma Program (BP) is designed for post-secondary dancers transitioning into early professional careers, offering intensive ballet training and performance experience. The summer Professional Dance Intensive (PDI) provides high-level training to strengthen technique, artistry, and stage experience for dancers of varying ages and levels.
