About Level 2.

Ages 8-9

Level 2 is a part of our General Program and focuses on continuing to learn correct body alignment, further developing musicality and rhythm, and increasing strength, flexibility, and balance. Students are evaluated through observation, checking for understand­ing, in-class activities to demonstrate learning, and discussion.  A more formal approach and technical structure is applied to classes as the students mature and gain technical prowess. Our Level 2 classes run September to June.

Students in Level 2 must take the two Base Program ballet classes in order to be eligible to take the following Add-On Classes:

Level 2 Add-On Classes:

Jazz: Students may choose to add the Level 2 Jazz class, which expands their dance vocabulary and further develops rhythm and expression. This is a performance class. *This class is now full! Please complete the form below to be added to the wait-list.

Ballet: The Level 2 add-on ballet class allows students to accelerate their ballet training. This class is not a performance class.
