Here are VAB’s results:
1st place in the Ensemble category – Danse Espagnole
3rd contemporary male – Adrian de Leeuw
Top 12 contemporary female – Airi Miyata, Azusa Okamoto and Paula Cobo Botello
Top 12 ballet – Airi Miyata, Azusa Okamoto and Marika Nakama
VAB was also awarded the Outstanding school award for the Seattle competition.
We are so excited to announce that 8 of our students have been asked to compete and/or participate in the intensive at the 2016 YAGP Finals in New York City!
Congratulations to Yukiho Kiriu and Adrian de Leeuw who will be performing the Pas de Deux from Coppelia in the NY Finals, and to Miki, Rin, Yuka, Airi, Azusa and Yukiho who will be performing Danse Espagnole in the Ensemble round of the NYC Finals. Azusa Okamoto, Airi Miyata and Marika Nakama have also been asked to attend the YAGP Intensive in NYC!
